It all started when I spotted a rickety old sweet cart on Facebook!

I had an idea that I could do it up and use it to sell my freshly-cut flowers to passers-by here in South Devon.

A year has passed by and since the Lixton Flower cart opened up I have supplied hundreds of seasonal flowers to our local community of Aveton Gifford, Kingsbridge and beyond as well as local businesses and DIY buckets for weddings and celebrations.

I am a passionate believer in supporting British-grown flowers and we are really lucky to have some amazing flower growers here in South Devon. 90% of flowers sold in supermarkets are imported from growers as far away as Equador, Kenya and Columbia.

Buying locally grown flowers not only helps reduce our carbon footprint but supports some fantastic local businesses and, even though I grow on a very small scale, My Cut Flower Patch works hard to produce beautiful seasonal blooms without using chemicals and air miles.
